To participate, simply create a local Southern California trip idea between today and July 6 and you will automatically be enrolled in the contest. The most popular trip idea for the month of July will receive a FREE local getaway up to $200 in value.

Remember, you can login to LocalTripper through your Facebook account, which will automatically post your trip idea to your profile and give you head start on the competition! After you've created your idea, you are free to post links anywhere on the web to increase your page views. The getaway contest winner will be announced during the first week of August. Contest rules & guidelines

1. All local trip ideas submitted between 06/16 and 7/6 are eligible for the contest.

2. Trip idea must be located in Southern California, have a length of 200 to 500 words and contain no offensive material.

3. Submissions must be your own work and not subject to any copyright material.

4. Trip popularity is based on unique page views between July 6 - July 31.

5. You are allowed and encouraged to post links to your trip idea across the web to increase page views.

6. You cannot review your own trip but you can ask others to review it for you. Remember: the more positive reviews a trip receives, the better placement it gets on the website.

7. You are allowed to create as many local trip ideas as you wish.

8. Winner will be entitled to a $200 getaway credit to be booked on LocalTripper.com between August 1 and August 31, 2009.
