Extraordinary Desserts Romance

Best time to go: Fall

With a line out the door almost every night, Extraordinary Desserts is a must stop to top off a fun day in San Diego. Extraordinary Dessert is an experience in itself. They serve cake, tarts, fine coffee drinks, specialty teas, ice-creams, specials, cookies, and an amazing specialty of hot chocolate (each item is about $7). The setting is casual, but don’t come in shoes and sandals. Get a variety of items, share with friends, or pair a drink with a desert.

Choose your cakes carefully as some can have quite niche tastes. They also are sell gifts, cookies, jams, and more. I never visit San Diego without stopping at Extraordinary and you should not either. It’s the best way to end a long day on the town.
