Here are our top tips for a successful UAE staycation
1. Research
Check out the area you want to stay in. Know where to eat, where to play and the best accommodation to suit your needs. Don’t deep dive into a rabbit hole, remember you can always google it later too.
2. Pack
You’re not going abroad but you don’t need to lug everything around either. Spending too much time unpacking and repacking could spoil the fun of things. So, pick a carry-on bag and pack wisely for a short staycation. Kids have needs so keep them in mind. For adults, a swimsuit, moisturizer, and that extra something for a night out definitely deserves a spot in your staycation suitcase.
3. Food
You must take a snack along with you or for kids, pack their meals, whether it’s the evening meal or the first day’s breakfast.
4. Think smart
Find accommodation that takes the stress out, think onsite restaurants & spas, activities nearby for kids, a pool or a hot tub. It’s all out there and will help the holiday feel special.
5. Enjoy
Most important if you ask us. Whether you choose to do this with family, friends, or chill by yourself. Embrace the holiday put that ‘out of office’, get that spa, disconnect and remember you don’t need a routine here and you don’t have anywhere to be.
